Glutenfreehotels.net is not a travel agency.
For this reason, we do not sell tickets for flights, for trains or for Gluten-Free Cruises.
This does not mean, however, that our website does not offer the necessary information for our coeliac users.
Today – luckily for us – many cruise companies also offer gluten-free food on board. Above all it is important to communicate, when you are making the booking directly via the website, that you need a gluten-free diet.
The philosophy of his section is the same as the others: to make your holidays as hassle-free as possible in all areas. We reserve your hotels and, at the same time, facilitate your access to the cruises.

The gluten-free diet request should be transmitted to Hansa at least six weeks prior to departure. Additional costs may be applied. On the river cruises on the boats MS Johannes Brahms and MS Elegant Lady Serena it is more difficult to guarantee that gluten-free food can be served, therefore it is always necessary to confirm whether it is possible.

Royal Caribbean
as a general rule, the boat does not offer a gluten-free menu. However, an alternative daily menu exists that includes roast beef without accompaniment, chicken, fish, white rice and boiled potatoes.
Furthermore, gluten-free bread is made on the boat. The boat does not offer goat’s milk, almond milk or rice milk, but it does offer soy milk. Lactose-free milk and vanilla-flavour Ensure are free of charge.
We do not specify the name of the brand, type or flavour of the soy milk or lactose-free milk.
Some alternative drinks can be requested, in which case the request will be sent to the boat for its evaluation.
To be able to offer you soy milk and lactose-free milk on our boats free of charge, we need to receive your request via email, indicating your booking number at least 45 days in advance of departure for cruises around North America, 90 days in advance for cruises in Europe and South America, and 100 days in advance in the case of cruises in Asia and Australia.
Last-minute requests will be catered for according to the stock available on the boat.
Once on board you should contact the maître to check the menus and ask any questions that you may have.
Bear in mind that if you decide to go to restaurants that are not the main dining room, you should contact the head waiter to review the food available taking into account your allergies or intolerances.
Remember that you are allowed to take on board foods that are not liquid or perishables. You can embark with biscuits, crisps, savoury snacks, energy bars, packets of salad dressings, etc., but the crew will not serve any food taken on board by passengers.
